Wedding Planning Checklist: A Lasting Impression! Part 9 of 9

This is LAST part of several in a series.  The checklist for AFTER your Wedding Day!

The day and weeks after your wedding are important because this is the last impression that you will leave on all of your guests and your vendors.  Treat them all well, and you have friends (and possibly future helpers) for life!

Here is part seven of my typical wedding checklist.  You can use it, edit it and rearrange it to fit your personal needs:

Wedding Checklist a After the Wedding


The Dress

Take wedding dress to be cleaned and preserved.

Groom

Return tuxedos, if rented.

Rentals

Rentals picked up Monday after wedding (if at home).

Gifts

Mail thank you cards to guests within 4 weeks of returning from your honeymoon.

Gifts

Send thank you notes to your vendors.

Misc.

Send change-of-address form to post office, if necessary.

Misc.

Change your last name on necessary forms.

Gifts

As a token of appreciation and for something that they can use in their portfolio, send digital photos to your vendors who helped you out so they can see how their work looked in at your wedding.

Photographer

Choose the photos for your albums and decide if you want any additional photos or albums as gifts.

Videographer

View your final wedding video, request any changes, and decide if you would like additional copies as gifts.
